Robert Giegling is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and has dedicated his career to the mental health of children. He received a BA in Psychology (1985) from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana, and a MA in Counseling & Guidance (1989) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Robert began his professional career as a case manager at a small agency in Kansas City, Kansas, working with newly released juvenile delinquents. From there, he moved to St. Louis where he was a case manager for the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), working with Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED) youth. He joined Children’s Foundation of Mid-America after three years at Missouri Alliance for Children and Families as the Eastern Region Director.An avid sports fan, Robert spends his off hours coaching baseball to young people.
