Penny graduated from Missouri Baptist University with a Master of Science in Education, (counseling licensure track) in 2003. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who comes to Eagle Summit with twenty-plus years working with families and children. She has assisted them through crisis situations, domestic violence, parenting issues, discipline problems and more. Penny has experience and training in CBT, DBT, Trauma Focused CBT, attachment issues and ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training). Prior to coming to Eagle Summit, Penny worked as an In-Home Therapist, taught college level courses to dually enrolled adolescents, ran groups for individuals with co-occurring disorders, provided clinical evaluation in the ER and worked on an inpatient adolescent unit.
